Mike Carter, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Carter joined Flow Systems as a staff engineer in 1993 after it was acquired by WEST.  He joined WEST in 2008 as COO.  As CEO, he is now leading WEST into the future, executing the long-term strategy and vision for the company and its entities. He is passionate about flow measurement and calibration and has more than 26 years of strategic leadership experience.

 

Prior to joining WEST, he held leadership positions at Flow Systems and Flow-Dyne Engineering. As a member of ASME working on Codes and Standards, Mr. Carter led the revision of the standard for critical flow. He earned his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Lisa Bowers, Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Bowers is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of finance and progressive accounting experience. She has a proven history of building high-performing teams, delivering accurate financial results, and implementing process improvement through cross-functional collaboration.

 

Before joining WEST in 2015, she served as controller for WestWater Energy, corporate controller for Strad Energy Services, and director of accounting for Global Healthcare Exchange. She started her career at Deloitte & Touche in the audit practice division. Ms. Bowers earned her bachelor’s in accounting from Montana State University, Bozeman.

Ernie Hauser, Chief Sales Officer

As chief sales officer, Mr. Hauser is responsible for codifying the sales team and ensuring alignment across the WEST family of flow measurement companies. He oversees marketing, customer relationship management, and sales.

 

Mr. Hauser comes to WEST after spending more than 10 years at Cameron, where he was the director of sales for Caldon Ultrasonic Flow Meters and a director of business development for the Valves and Measurement Group. Prior to that, he spent 17 years with Caldon, which culminated with six years as president of Caldon Nuclear. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State.
